  9. Cookies
Cookies are short texts stored on the user’s computer by the website operator’s server when a website is visited. Cookies can also be stored on the user’s computer by service providers other than the operator of the website visited. These are called third-party cookies.
    1. Personal reference: Cookies can contain any information, such as a user’s preferred language or other personal page settings, login information, ID numbers, real names, postal addresses or e-mail addresses. As a rule, this information meets the criteria for classification as personal data in accordance with Section 3 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Article 4 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR).
    2. Intended Use: With each subsequent visit to the website, the user’s computer sends the cookie information to the third-party website server. Identification features stored in cookies make the user recognizable for the third-party provider, so that user behaviour profiles can be created. Practical example: If the “Like” or “Share” buttons from Facebook are used on a website, these so-called social plugins integrated into the website set a third-party cookie, in this case the one from Facebook. The same generally applies to similar offers from other companies or, for example, when using pop-ups for news, stock tickers, weather forecasts or banners for advertising purposes, etc.
    3. Benefit: Third-party providers can track the visits of users they can identify, link them across servers and thus track the user. This procedure is referred to as so-called tracking. However, cookies also make it easier to use the website by allowing the web server to recognize the user’s preferences. For example, virtual shopping baskets in online shops are only possible with cookies. If connections to the server are interrupted, cookies can be used to continue web applications where they were interrupted. Without cookies, website use is therefore often restricted, very inconvenient or practically impossible.
    4. Intervention: A use of our offers is also possible without cookies. You can deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, limit it to certain websites or set your browser so that it notifies you as soon as a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC’s hard drive at any time. Please note, however, that in this case you will have to reckon with a limited display of the page and limited user guidance. As a result, our streams and webcasts may no longer run correctly.
    5. Managing Cookies: When you visit our website for the first time, you will see a banner. This banner allows you to configure the various cookies.

Some cookies may be third party cookies. If so, they will be clearly and separately identified in the cookie banner, and you should review their privacy policies before accepting them. If you refuse cookies, they will not be installed unless they are strictly necessary (e.g., a cookie to remember your refusal).
Please note: If you decide to delete or refuse certain cookies, this may result in the view of certain content, functions or services on our website not being guaranteed.

  10. Use of the data collected for marketing purposes
As part of our marketing, we only use data that you have sent us for the purpose of sending publications or our newsletter. All data collected on this website is evaluated anonymously.

  12. Social Media Plugins
We currently do not use any social media plugins.
  13. Use of Service Providers and Disclosure to Third Parties
In order to provide this website and for the above-mentioned purposes, your data may be passed on to technical service providers who support us (e.g., website hosting, support, quality assurance or mailing service), which we have of course carefully selected and commissioned in writing. These service providers are bound by our instructions and are regularly checked by us.

Otherwise, your data will only be passed on to other third parties if this is expressly stated in this data protection declaration or if we are legally obliged to do so.

  14. Data Security
